Berry leads, but second is tightly packed
Mathew Berry arrives at race week on 268 points, giving him a 23-point advantage over Mark J Smith. Jayden J Draper is another three points behind Smith on 242 — and 26 behind Berry.
That makes the top three the clearest championship thread heading into Wednesday. Berry and Smith each have two wins in the standings, while Draper has one. Berry has contested eight rounds; Smith and Draper have seven apiece. Those participation totals provide context, not a guarantee of points to come.
Berry’s latest Feature result was second at Monza after starting sixth in his Ferrari 296 GT3. Draper finished fourth from third on the grid. Both therefore head towards Bathurst with top-four Feature finishes in the latest supplied results.
Jordan Groom sits fourth in the championship on 205 points, 37 behind Draper. Jonathan William Nicholls follows on 172. There is a meaningful gap between those positions, but no basis here to call any championship outcome settled.
Hunter heads the PRO-AM standings
Dylan J Hunter is sixth overall on 159 points and the highest-placed PRO-AM driver in the standings. Darryl Coupe has 110, with Jordyn Webber only six points further back on 104.
Hunter’s Monza Feature delivered seventh overall from eighth on the grid, with zero incidents recorded. Coupe finished 13th. Hunter’s current advantage over Coupe is 49 points, while the closer Coupe–Webber contest is another worthwhile Bathurst watch.
There is little breathing room immediately behind Hunter overall, either: Jordan Seers has 153 points and Adrian Ranieri 150. Ranieri’s fifth place in the Monza Feature supplies a recent result to watch alongside that three-point standings gap.
